It's been a CRAZY semester, to say the least. It kind of goes without saying that I've had little to no time to do any sort of creating (unless you count cooking and baking; i didn't have a kitchen at school and it was PAIN!) Anyhoo, I've had a little trouble with inspiration of late, and that kind of contributed to my lack of production. There was a lot of emotional garbage/stress goin' on, but I think I've found something. I've got a good start on a Gene Tierney picture. wow. Last year was so busy! so busy in fact that I never really found time to upload my last drawings from class until now. oops. There are probably a few more post-worthy pieces floating around my dorm room, but I suppose I'll search through those later. I'm still on break :D Anyway, as a sort of demi-resolution, I'd like to get back to one of my first loves: costumes and cloting design. They require a LOT less time and aren't half as exhausting as portraits, and they make me happy...since because fun :3 While I learned a TON in class, all the work i had to do left me little time for leisure art. so my past three drawing classes we've been doing the human figure, so i have some sketches to post of the nude models. surprisingly, it was not awkward at all....well, maybe the first five minutes of the first day, but after that the models became kind of objective, and they were really good at it. and all three days i had some really great poses drawn, but they were mostly for exercises and not developed at all. so OF COURSE when we actually get to do a developed work on the last day with a model, i happened to be standing with a view of straight on junk for an hour and a half. lol. I made the mistake of sending the photo of the drawing to
